»Mildmares« is an audiovisual experiment, in which the phenomenon of hypnagogia is explored.
Hypnagogia is a certain state of consciousness, which sometimes occurs between sleeping and waking up. The “dreamer” may experience both visual and auditory hallucinations, without having the ability to react to them.
The project is a collection of ambient pieces and sound collages, which send the listener on a journey inspired by this dreamlike state.
In connection with audio-reactive animations and supporting illustrations, which are presented on a digital stage, an immersive narrative is created.
